Original era manufacture. Curved 33 inch polished steel blade displaying the Kirschbaum logo on the ricasso. The blade is clean, unsharpened and straight, slight amount of age mottling to the surface. Etched panels on each side displaying the In Treue Fest motto. Chromed steel 2-branch guard with the original owners name on the underside. Old brazed repair to the top branch of the guard. Plastic wrapped grip shows wear from use, no wire binding, maybe never had any. Chromed steel scabbard with two carrying rings, few very shallow dents near the tip, one throat screw is missing. Excellent research potential with a name on the guard.
