Original era manufacture. 23 inch polished steel blade with etched panels on each side displaying the Bavarian motto In Treue Fest. Scattered cleaned corrosion along the length of the blade with most being found at the tip. The blade has a slight bend near the tip. Hard rubber checkered grips with a chrome plated pommel and guard. Sound black leather scabbard with tight stitching, chorme plated throat and tip. Scarce sword.
