German, Pre WWI, Bavarian Constabulary Sword, Modified

Original era manufacture. Ok, this is a different one, from an old collection in SoCal. It looks to be a modified Bavarian Artillery officers sword, cut-down to do service as a Constabulary officers sword. WKC marked chromed steel blade with etched panels on each side of the blade, measuring 24.5 inches in length. Black plastic covered grip, chromed finish basket guard. The black painted steel scabbard has also been cut down to fit the length, and had a fixed suspension loop welded to the body at one point, it is now missing.
