Original era manufacture. A waliking out pattern weapon with a chromed steel blade measuring 22.5 inches in length with etched In Treue Fest panels on each side. The blade is clean with just a touch of plating missing on the ricasso of the obverse side. Very slightly bent about 7 inches back from the tip. Black painted carved wooden grip with a checkered design on each side. Chromed steel S-guard and pommel with a darkened patina. Black leather bodied scabbard with chromed steel fittings has shrunk form age leaving a 10mm gap between the throat and bottom of the guard.
