Original era manufacture. Brass trimmed, leather bodied helmet in basically sound condition. The silk covering inside the helmet is missing, as are the star devices which hold the cruciform base to the helmet body.The front and rear visors are securing sewn to the body of the helmet, the rear skirt ends are curling inwards from age.No extra holes behind the wappen, the fluted spike is removable, and both officer pattern kokardes are present.Overall a bright and clean looking helmet for display.
