Original era manufacture. Brass trimmed, leather bodied helmet in basically sound condition, but assembled from original parts for display.Officer, or NCO, infantry spike and base, clear Bavarian reserve officers wappen, fairly complete brass curved chinscales with most of the leather backing remaining, Bavarian and national cockades in original paint. The helmet body is sound, the enlisted pattern liner is all there, the rear visor and body have curled inward from age, yet remain pliable. A good base for a restoration, or good for extra parts.
