Original era manufacture. German WWI Bavarian hat. Hierteis & Sohns, Nurnberg & Furth manufacture. Tall pattern hat, with a dark blue wool top and light blue wool piping and band. Both cockades are present, wide gray oil cloth sweatband with a gray cotton lining. Several scattered moth repairs to the body, overall the hat is not crushed or flattened and displays well.
