Original era manufacture. Brass handled "hanger" pattern sword, perhaps used by the police or gendarmerie. The polished steel blade measures 25.5 inches in length with the WKC logo on the obverse ricasso. The blade is fairly straight and clean showing an even steel patina finish. No scabbard. This brass handled sword by WKC was one of many souvenirs brought home to the US after the end of WWII by Corporal R.D.Easler, 3468th Ordnance Company, US Army.
