Original era manufacture. This is old sword provides a sound base for those who are into restoration projects. 31 inch triple etched blade which displays the regiments name on one side and the Garde star in a blue finished panel on the other. The double fullered blade is straight with no corrosion damage. Nice triple branch brass basket hilt guard with a removable pommel cap. The letters UCI which are stamped into the guard no doubt attest to the swords former ownership by a Hollywood Prop House.
