Original era manufacture. Stamped brass construction, measuring 50 mm in height and 65 mm in length. Comparing this buckle to another in our collection, ours measures only 45 mm in height, and 60 mm in length, which I believe indicates manufacture prior to 1895. Nice brass patina finish overall, normal age and wear.
