Original era manufacture. Chromed steel blade measuring 31 inches in length, with deep, but inexpensive etched decoration on each side, no visible makers information. The blade runs fairly straight, but there are some plating issues and staining from age.Silvered brass guard with an ornate design, fish skin grip bound with a single strand of twisted wire.The steel scabbard has an ugly modern chrome refinish job, you can see light pitting in the steel surface beneath, on the plus side the scabbard is free of dents.
