Original era manufacture. A well made dress type Sabertasche for officers, of a pattern as used by the following Hussar regiments, Leib-Hussar Nr 1, and Hussar regiments3, 13 and 14. Red Moroccan leather with a front center panel of red wool, with a wide band of silver brocate on three sides, and a tightly woven cypher and crown decoration in silver wire at center.There are three brass suspension loops at the top ofwith black leather straps and cast brass, lion faced adjusting buckles on each. There is a spot of mothing to the front panel near the top, just to the left of the cross on the crown, and some minor scuffing on the edges. There is age wear and flaking to the leather suspension straps where they pass through the suspension loops.All of the stitching is sound and tight, the threads holding the embroidery in place do not fluoresce under a UV light. A nice quality piece of equipment.
