Original era manufacture. Cased medal which honors Emil Rathenau (1838-1915)an early proponent of the development of the electric industry in Germany and founder of the famous firm of A.E.G.. His son Walther was murdered in 1922 by members ofright wingfactions during periods of unrest in Berlin.
