Original era manufacture. Stamped metal sleeve shield of gilded brass awarded for the consecutive years of 1909-1910, to Infantry company with the best marksmanship score in each Army Corps.Dual date examples are very difficult to find, this example is missing its blue wool backing and metal plate, it is maker marked CEJ, on the bottom of the Imperial crown. Pleasing patina finish.
