Original era manufacture. An well made insignia, worn on the Jager zu Pferde brown leather bandoleer. Consisting of a convex alloy oval, with a gilded brass Prussian eagle set upon the obverse. At the bottom is a heavy four section linked chain which is attached at the opposite end, to a alloy whistle.The oval measures 50 x 68 mm, with a 32 cm linked chain (13 inches), and 60 mm whistle.
