Original era manufacture. KS98 pattern bayonet with a sawback spine. The blade is quite clean with no issues beyond normal age and wear. Erfurt marked on the obverse ricasso, and on the reverse Gebruder Heller, Marienthal.  Steel patina finish to the birdhead pommel and guard, unit marked 10 J.P. , original finish wooden grips.Cleaned steel patina finish scabbard, with a small dent near the tip, and evidence of the bayonet frog once having been in place.
