Original era manufacture. Nice honest example with matching unit numbers on the guard and scabbard 19.D.2.135 (Oldenburg Dragoon Regt Nr.19, 2nd Squadron, 135th Weapon).The quill backed blade is issue proofed on the spine, crown W 91, maker marked on the ricasso and shows a military service sharpening along its edge. One piece non-folding steel guard with a brown composition grip. Blue steel scabbard with an even patina finish, few light surface dents both throat screws are present. A solid example that no doubt went to war in 1914.
