Original era manufacture. Chromed steel blade running straight and true, measuring 31 inches in length. Etched panels on each side of the blade, with a blue panel on the obverse displaying the regiment name "Leib Garde Hus. Regt.", and on the reverse, a blued panel of charging horseman.Folding guard in good condition, the black plastic wrapped grip shows cracking and chipping below the pommel, but no major chunks missing.Chrome finished steel scabbard with two suspension rings, it may not be the original to the blade, as it sticks a bit, and does not quite meet the bottom of the guard.Still a decent enough example, and hard to improve upon regiment-wise.
