Original era manufacture. Chrome finish, triple etched steel blade running straight and true, measuring 33inches in length, with the WKC logo on the obverse ricasso. Etched panels on each side of the blade with the obverse panel displaying the regiment name "Leib Garde Hus. Regt.", and on the reverse, a blued panel of charging horseman.Ornate folding type guard, the molded hard rubber grip is in sound condition. There is a set of hand engraved initials on the lip of the quillon. The small side of the guard is bent a bit being a tad closer to the grip than it should be. Dent free black painted steel scabbard with both throat guide securing screws present. A very nice sword from one of Imperial Germany's most elite cavalry regiments.
