Original period manufacture. Nice quality, early production sword without the Wilhelm II cypher on the grip, never had one. If memory serves these were authorized in 1895, making this an early produced sword. Thirty inch polishes steel double fullered blade which has been lightly sharpened for service use. Deluxe guard and pommel with extra embellishments used in the decoration of same. Leather wrapped grip with triple wire binding. Chrome or nickel finished scabbard with both throat screws present, with scattered denting to the surface, no major corrosion damage. Sound old sword.
