Original era manufacture. Standard brass bodied Prussian pattern enlisted bucklebut displaying the Saxon motto, Providentiae Memor on the center disc.Original sewn, brown leather tab, which is not maker marked. On the top edge of the buckle body, it is regimentally marked to IR 102(Saxon 3rd Infantry Regiment, King Ludwig III of Bavaria Nr.102), and on the reverse, forward of the catch is stamped, C.HEMBOLD.Normal age and wear, from our own collection.
