Original era manufacture. Based on the pre WWI pattern M1907 canteen is this example ofttimes referred to as a Political canteen. Aluminum body with a screwcap closure. Brown leather suspension with an aluminum stud at the base of the cover. Scattered mothing to the cover as shown, leather remains pliable but stiff. No markings visible.
