Original era manufacture. Red-White-Black braided wool & silk construction. Single acorn at bottom indicating a second award. There is some wear to the surface of the braided cord and on the reverse of the pad. Interestingly the reverse of the pad seems to be unit marked to Infantry Regiment 17.
