Original era manufacture. Silver gilt maltese cross measuring 35mm across, with the cypher of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz on the central disc. Nice period ribbon which does not glow under a UV light. The Grand Duchy of Mecklenburg-Schwerin provided troops for the 1st and third battalions of IR 89 and all of Fusilier Rgt 90.
