Original era manufacture. Fine quality doeskin gray wool overcoat with a matching material dark blue wool collar. Double breasted, domed silver buttons, with a slash pocket on each hip. Pale blue body lining, with gray silk sleeve lining. Embroidered name tag in the collar. No real moth issues to mention, there is probably one lurking somewhere. There is a 2 inch seam opening on the top of the left shoulder, but that is about it besides normal wear and use for this 100 plus year old coat. The original shoulder straps have have been removed, but a previous owner has provided a very nice set of Prussian Hauptman straps of a sew-in pattern, the originals look to have been slip-ons. Nice and clean, looks great. Size about a 38 regular.
