Original era manufacture. 19 inch polished steel blade with an etched panel on one side, no makers mark. The blade shows evidence of cleaning, with scattered areas of salt & pepper finish. Cast brass grip and guard which is unit marked 63.A.2.18 (2nd Nassau Field Artillery Rgt Nr.63). Partial scabbard with the brass throat being loose.
