Original era manufacture. Quill back chrome finished blade which is quite clean, no issues, no makers markings on the ricasso. Chrome finished guard and pommel with some areas of missing plating, overall still nice. Sound original wooden grips showing normal age and wear. Sound original leather scabbard with intact stitching, no bends or creases, with chrome finished throat and chape. Typical surface bubbling to the metal fittings, but still nice looking. It has a period frog but I do not believe it to be German, perhaps Turkish. Tight fit, blade to scabbard.A clean looking bayonet for its 100 year age.
