Original period manufacture. Stamped brass helmet plate for the enlisted Prussian pickelhaube. Gilded brass finish, measuring 75 mm between the hooks. Not flattened, still curved to fit the front of a helmet. The hooks are attached by epoxy, with one hook in need of repair. The thin piece of metal between the scepter and eagle's tail has broken.
