Original era manufacture. Prewar manufacture, black leather bodied helmet with brass trim. Both visors are securely sewn to the body, the rear visor is unit marked Felda. R. 23 (2nd Rhenish Nr.23). Original Prussian and national kokardes, with a modern replacement chinstrap. Matching patina finish to the ball and base, front trim and rear spine. The original wappen fits the helmet properly but is likely a post production replacement, done at some point in the past. There are no extra holes behind the wappen. Decent size, about a 58.
