Original era manufacture. A very sound example of the classic Kugelhelm, in the form of a Reserve Field Artillery officer.Gilded brass fittings throughout, with no extra holes behind the wappen, and segmented chinstrap with curved segments.Proper officer pattern Prussian & National kokarden, and star shaped brads holding the base at the top of the helmet.Wide, tan leather sweatband with scalloped edging, and a white silk drape, which is soiled from wear and displaying some tears in the fabric near the front.Both front and rear visors are securely sewn to the helmet body, the front visor trim fits properly, and  the patent leather finish has a high gloss to it. There are some minor dents in the helmet surface, but nothing unexpected for its 100 year age.
