Original era manufacture. Dark blue wool topped visor with a lemon yellow cap band. NCO pattern painted cockades in Prussian and National colors. Plain brown cotton lining, with a brown leather sweatband, size about 6 7/8, courtesy of an old costume house marking in the lining. The edges of the sweatband shows wear, with a tear in the front. The cap is not crushed or broken, with two very small moth bites at the rear of the cap band.
