Original era manufacture. A lovely old Bavarian porcelain stein from just prior to the beginning of WWI in August of 1914. The stein measures 12.5 inches in height, with a Bavarian soldier and lion finial. Very attractive transfer decoration on the body of the stein, with a soldier farewell lithopane in the bottom. No cracks, or chips, the colors are bright and vibrant, with just a touch of wear to the gilding.
