Original era manufacture. A lovely old porcelain stein, once the property of Reservist Bauer, who served during the years 1908-1910. The stein measures 12.5 inches in height, with its top shaped as an artillery shell fuze, with a small cannon finial. Bright and colorful transfer on the body of the stein, with handpainted highlights. The lithopane bottom depicts the image of a soldier saying farewell to his wife or sweetheart. No damage,just light age and wear.
