Original era manufacture. Porcelain bodied, hand decorated exterior with a lithopane bottom. This stein once was the property of Gefreiter Schubert, late of the6th Battery, 4th Baden Field Artillery Regiment Nr 66, and honors his active service from 1908-1910. Pewter top in the shape of an artillery shell fuzewith a cannon finial.There are no cracks or chips in the body and the colors are quite vibrant. The lithopane bottom has a flake-like chip out of the underside, with some spidering out from the edges of the flaked area.The bottom is not pierced and willstill hold your beer.
