Original period manufacture. Modified 71/84 bayonet with the muzzle ring removed, no flashguard. Clean polished steel blade with a crown 87 issue date on the spine. Tip shows some sharpening top and bottom, nothing terrible. Mismatched unit markings on the guard and scabbard throat. Leather bodied scabbard has shrunk a bit overtime closing to within 3mm of the guard. Clean bayonet overall.
