Original era manufacture. A very clean example with the first pattern one-piece wood grip. The bright steel blade is straight and true with a bit of minor pitting near the tip from moisture. The wood grip is not cracked and shows only minor wear. Nice black leather scabbard with intact stitching and a bit of minor scuffing to the leather surface. The blade fits the scabbard well albeit snugly and some times you have to give it a tug to draw the blade. Imperial proofs in the proper places with an 02 date on the spine. Mismatched unit marks on the guard and scabbard throat.
