Original era manufacture. Bright clean blade showing an old light sharpening to the edge. Even steel patina to the metal fittings, decent wood grips with original finish. Unit marked on the guard and scabbard throat to the Bavarian 11th Regt, 4th Company but with different weapon numbers, 54 and 201. Decent black leather scabbard body with sound stitching, slight closure gap between the throat and bottom of the guard.
