Original period manufacture.A very clean example with a bright chrome finished blade with the early Eickhorn trademark featuring back-to-back squirrels on its ricasso. No issues with the blade, all bright and clean. Chrome finished guard and pommel with the lock button working properly. There is some very minor marring or bumping to the pommel and some finish loss on the lock button, zero corrosion damage. Very nice black leather bodied scabbard with bright chrome finished tip and throat. The scabbard has receded a very tiny amount from the base of the guard. Nice clean bayonet from a famous maker.
