Original period manufacture. Sound, with a dark steel patina finish to the blade, pommel and scabbard fittings. The blade is straight, unsharpened with a shallow peppering of old cleaned corrosion. Unit marked on the guard 120.R.9.136. The scabbard leather is sound, stitching is tight and the blade fits the scabbard properly. Steel patina finish to the metal tip and scabbard throat. Unit marked on the throat 100.R.10.251..
