Original era manufacture. Private purchase white piped, dark blue doeskin wool tunic with light blue collar and cuffs, with silver color buttons throughout. Black polished cotton body lining, with striped sleeve lining. The lining shows typical wear and use with minor tearing and fraying, it also exhibits two spots were the coat was tailored to fit a larger individual. Removable shoulder paddles in the rank of an Oberleutnant. Removable rabatte in light blue wool, with a light blue wool polished cotton lining. Gold brocade officers bandoleer with a red wool underlay, and a black patent leather cartridge pouch with gilded brass cypher and crown. Overall the set is clean (the bandoleer and pouch are quite nice), with a few scattered snags and minor moth bites. However the coat being in a dark color makes the flaws less visible. The cuffs have been lengthened at some point, again to fit a larger person. All in all it is an honest set with all the goodies needed for a full dress display. Size about a 38 regular.
