Original period publication. Scarce little book published byMoritz Ruhl, Leipzig, who produced a series of color booklets on the armies of the world prior to WWI. This edition deals with the Imperial Japaneseof the Meiji era. Thirteen color plates giving details in dress and branch of service. The book is complete with its original covers and cloth binding strip, with the edges of the cover showing wear. Super scarce, first example we've owned. German text.
