Original era manufacture. White cotton drill material issue trousers, which are B.A.G. (Garde Depot) marked, and 1906 dated on the inside of the waist.There is a single rear hip pocket, a watch pocket up front, and a full complement of zinc fly and waist buttons are present.The trousers exhibit considerable wear, with several repairs evident, stains and thin spots from wear, and a tear in one knee. In spite of their obvious warts, they remain rather rare examples of German issue enlisted summer trousers. We have owned this pair of trousers for many years, and they have been used in many different displays.
