Original era manufacture. A fine quality example of a Kingdom of Wurttemberg Verdienstkreuz in its box of issue.The medal appears to be made of silver, with a high polish and contrasting patina to the surface. Length of correct pattern, original ribbon in the small partition above the medal. Very sound original case to the royal jeweler in Stuttgart. The bottom of the case has a paper tag, giving the name and position of the original owner; Josef Wiest, Oberpostkassier.
