Original era manufacture. A brown paper postcard which was carried aboard the LZ10 Zeppelin "Schwaben" on the 17th of June, 1912. Interestingly the Schwaben was destroyed 9 days later when she broke free from her moorings inheavy winds, and static electricity ignited her hydrogen bags.An old notation is paper clipped to the card describing its purchase by a previous owner in 1961 and paying a (then) hefty price of $12. In comparison, that would have purchased two complete WWII German helmets in Jim Schwartz's Gun Shop in Doylestown Pa, and left money over for lunch. Times have changed..
