Original era manufacture. Chrome finished, unmarked, 10.5 inch steel blade in overall clean condition, slightly blunted at the point.Chrome or nickel plated guard and bird-head pommel with a decorative lock button, but cut for a bayonet stud.Sound, original finish wooden grips secured with matching finish screw heads. Minor dings and dents, but no cracks or chips. Black leather bodied scabbard with chrome finished throat and chape, stitching is sound showing scuffing to the surface on one side.Nice black leather mounted pattern frog with the pommel strap and securing stud intact. Overall the bayonet is clean, blade closes to within 3 mm of the top of the scabbard throat. There is a very slight bend in the blade about an inch up from the ricasso. Not very noticeable.
