Original period manufacture. Polished steel blade measuring 31 inches in length, running fairly straight and true with no issues. No maker mark visible on the ricasso. Ornate cast brass guard and back strap with a lion head pommel. Black plastic wrapped grip bound with triple strand wire, original gray leather sword knot wrapped around the guard. Original gloss black paint finish on the dent free steel scabbard. A very clean sword.
