Original era manufacture. A wonderful, pre-war quality set of composition figures, wooden wagon, teepee and canoe, produced by the famous German firm of Elastolin. All of the figures are in original paint and were made basically of sawdust and glue on a wire frame work. The carved wooden canoe is of one piece and is marked Germany on the bottom. The printed cloth Teepee is missing it's inner wire framework but stands up by itself pretty well, it is D.R.G.M. marked on the interior. The wooden Conestoga wagon is very well made and solid, however the canvas cover is in poor condition. The wagon is not marked. There are a few minor issues with some of the figures, but overall the set is in beautiful condition for it's age. The foot figures generally stand just under three inches in height, with the ELASTOLIN name on the underside of the base. When doing the count, the horse and riders were counted individually.
