Original era manufacture. A nice quality stamped nickle alloy buckle with excellent detail. Original sewn brown leather tab dated 1928 and maker marked Schmidt & Co. Menden. The Reichswehr was the 100,000 man army allowed to Germany under the Versailles Treaty.
