Original era manufacture. Two 800 silver marked presentation cups to Hermann Weller. When we first purchase these I did an online search for him and found a Hermann Weller who worked as a flight instructor at Stuttgart-Boblingen and was killed in a collision while doing aerial acrobatics. While doing the write-up for these two cups I looked for him again and of course couldn't find it. One of the cups celebrates his 15,000 flight and the other a cup from the Stuttgart-Boblingen Airfield to Flight Instructor Hermann Weller. One cup stands 88mm in height and the other about 85mm. One is 800 moon & crown marked on its base, the other 830 moon & crown with the letters JP in a circle. I did some additional digging on the net and found this site http://flughafenbb.wordpress.com/1919-1945/die-tragik-von-fritz-schindler/scroll down and you will see a photo of three men posing in front of an aircraft. The man on the right is Weller.
