Original era manufacture. A very nice, uncleaned example of a private purchase Police bayonet. Many of these were converted during the Third Reich era by having the clamshell removed and an aluminum Polize eagle set into the girp. 10 inch chrome steel blade showing no damage. Heavy nickel fittings and original staghorn grips with a Weimar style police device on one side. Black leather scabbard body mounted with nickel throat and tip. The stitching is tight and the blade fits in all the way, no shrinkage. Scarce bayonet to find in its original form.
